It’s hard to believe we are just 1 week, 7 days, away from boarding the plane and heading to the Dominican Republic. I think it all still seems a bit surreal, but it will soon become reality as we step foot into the Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo.
Jeff, Braegan, and I just returned to Peoria from a relaxing 2 weeks in California. We were able to spend a majority of the time in Northern California, and then ventured down to the Los Angeles for a long weekend. I can honestly say it is the most diverse place I have ever visited, and a place that really needs Jesus.
I’m going to keep this short, but I did just want to mention a few prayer requests for the upcoming week:
-We did make it to Chicago to submit our paperwork for the visas to the Dominican Consulate; however, we are still waiting for everything to be returned to us. Please pray that we can get things finalized prior to departure.
-Braegan has been doing wonderful with all of our recent travels. Please pray for her transition into a new environment.
–REST! With the anticipation of leaving so soon, please pray that we are able to get the rest we need.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support!! The next post from me will be written from the Dominican Republic.
